Here’s everything you need to know/do to prepare you for the full experience
1. Don’t be worried about the rain. It just mean the winds in our sail will go crazy. So come pumped and adventurous!!!!!!!!!
Access
Your name is with the Security.
Don’t be scared. You’re not in any trouble. This just means that, today, you’re an exclusive and important guest at the Lagos Yacht Club. Just walk in with your government name, or better, tell them “I am a Money Magnet,” and watch how they’ll scramble to let you through. We used to pray for times like these.

The Lagos Yacht Club, Onikan, VI, Lagos
Activities
Sailing starts by 11am prompt.
We’re sorryyyyy. We knowww how it feelsssss. But we have no choice.
Anyway regardless sha,
- Meet up and introduction sess.
- A tour with the commodore to teach us about the club and sailing.
- Legacy: Letter to my building future self. Guests write a letter to their future selves, describing the life they’re building. Letters are sealed and would be mailed back to them one year later by the community.
- High tea/Aperitifs + conversations.
- Dreams and Paper: Productivity + Finance Conversation Series.
- A barter station: an exercise in letting go and finding new meaning (an exchange of items that hold value to you and letting them find a new home with someone). (art/a book/collectibles, etc.) (optional)
- "Was here" signage. to be turned to print for the community.
- Dinner (low vibrational plates).
Barter Station
Bring something completely chill for someone.
Anything. A pen, a book, a bracelet, new sets of nonstick pots, keys to a new apartment (for me please 😭).
This isn’t about the object. It’s about the energy. The story.
The shared journey of release and rediscovery. What better way to connect with someone you’ve never met before than sharinggg?

We would be surrounded by water: alive, real, and fluid. We enjoin you to put your feet on the onshore soil and touch some grass. Watch the sailing game! Laugh. Spill your drink. And let the wind caress your skin. Please engage in our activities and add life and colour to the event.
